Is This The Part Where I'm Supposed To Brag About Myself?
Ok. Well, only if you insist.
Since you’re on what is essentially a sales page, I guess I should begin with my strengths and sell you on why working with me is a good idea. All I can say is that I do not know everything.
I am not the most successful entrepreneur in the world. I have not made the most money, sold the most books or garnered the most followers. I have not built an 8-figure business and I do not own a supercar.
What I have created is a life on my own terms, using my unique gifts to do work that has touched the world and compensated me quite well in the process.
How I Got Here
What I'm really, really good at is turning projects and ideas into bankable skills and profitable businesses.
I spent time as an actor, where I learned martial arts and stunt work for the first time. My favorite role was "Randy" in the MMA film Caged Dreams. It was the lead role, and I got paid to learn fighting. I was 21.
At 22, I moved to Atlanta, where I learned writing, directing and producing. I was sick of being passed up for roles I wanted, so I taught myself the business of film, raised $13,000 in capital and shot the damn thing myself.
My first movie was called Blossoms For Clara and it stars the lovely Jasmine Guy. I was able to convince her to act in it through an aunt of a friend. I can't believe we pulled it off.
After this movie, one thing was clear: I loved film, but I was obsessed with business.
I was hooked on the process of making everything happen. I loved creating the vision and seeing something go from concept to reality.
This is me on the set of my film Blossoms For Clara
Once I moved out to LA, I began working as a television host at a streaming network called The LipTV. I loved hosting and I was good at it. The television experience was great prep for a career with a large social media component.
Here's me interviewing Lori Greiner from Shark Tank. I was so nervous!
Over the following years, I launched myself full time into business — first going hard in the service industry as a freelancer working in web design, marketing and consulting.
During this time, I had my head down hustling. My revenue was beginning to grow. Between 2015 and 2018 I made $1.28MM consulting companies, building brands and learning the ropes of online business.
And I ain't mad at that.
2015-2018 revenue @ $1.2MM. Not bad for only having my Bachelors.
Once I began to see results, I started sharing my strategies online and things got a little crazy.
In 2015, Business Insider published my now-infamous piece "How I made almost $24,000 in 4 weeks freelancing online" and a tiny sliver of the internet exploded. Instagram was just heating up at the time and I began to get traction.
By the time 2017 rolled around, the tables had turned. I wasn't just giving the interviews, now I was being interviewed.
Here's me sharing some wisdom on the Impact Theory show with Tom Bilyeu. He's an awesome guy.
My debut book, Rich20Something (2017), hit multiple bestseller lists and is consistently one of the top-rated business books out there.
Over my career, I’ve been featured on the cover of Foundr Magazine and I've been written about in Forbes, Fortune, Inc. and TIME Magazine. My writing, videos and podcasts have reached millions.
I’ve spoken on stages all over the world, including The United States Army, NASDAQ and USC.
I originally hated the cover of my book. Now, I've grown to love it. And it matches my socks.
In my early twenties, I was waiting tables at a steakhouse. As of now, I’m 32, and I’ve made millions through online business, media and consulting. Which sounds strange so say out loud.
I launched a funded media startup in partnership LA Weekly called The Vanguard. We were working with influencers to create original branded content. Dope idea, wrong team. It failed and I sold my shares in 2018 for a small profit.
Later that year, I launched Alpha Mentorship in an attempt to create something new off the success of the Rich20Something momentum.
My primary objective with Alpha is to train entrepreneurs in my somewhat unorthodox approach to blending personal evolution and business development. We created an entire business + life curriculum and taught it to 36 people. The first year, total sales reported across all clients topped $5MM.
That's what I love to hear. It just proves that my crazy ideas can work for others, too!
Where I'm Headed
As of 2020, I'm working on a new project called Strength of Seduction, an ecommerce brand + app in the fitness/health space. We are the #1 workout for couples, designed to burn calories and build intimacy.
We grew this new product to $500k+ revenue the first year — again proving my ability to lead a team and take an idea concept to (profitable) completion. Our goal is to hit $2MM+ in 2021.
(We sold 10,000+ DVDs...in 2020. I honestly can't believe it.)
Here's a YouTube breakdown of the year. Good, bad and ugly.
It’s been a wild ride. I'm still out here in the field working towards my big vision and a big exit. Just like you.
Let's see..what else, what else? Oh, yeah...
...I love psychedelics, lifting, writing and jiu jitsu.
Some people have told me I have the most realistic written account of the DMT "ego death" experience they've ever read.
I am heavily influenced by the philosophy of Stuart Wilde and Alan Watts. My favorite superheroes are Zorro and Batman.
So, that’s me. Don't say I didn't warn you.
If these are the types of results you want for yourself, I can help you get there. If you want something different, I’m not your guy.
